National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) reminds our country of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students.

Here at Mar Vista School our PTA members work hard to accomplish that mission. The PTA is a volunteer organization that offers our Mar Vista School support in many areas. You can download a list of PROGRAMS supported by the Mar Vista PTA.

Each year, the Mar Vista PTA compiles a roster for each classroom.  Regulations prohibit the school from releasing this information.  By completing this online form, you consent to having your child's name, along with your information, placed on the Classroom Roster.  You will receive a copy of the Classroom Roster ONLY if you complete the form.  The roster information is beneficial for communicating with other parents in the class regarding friendships, classroom activities and homework questions.  Please complete your classroom roster contact information, along with indicating your volunteer interests, via the link below.  You can use one form for multiple children.  Link to:  CLASSROOM ROSTER FORM

Do you want to help out in the class?  Are you a seamstress?  Are you a great baker?  Can you spare 15 minutes or one hour?  Would you like to lead a scout troop?  Do you like to take pictures?  Do you work and only have a little time available?  We need you!   All volunteers are welcome!

MEMBERSHIP

Anyone can join the PTA - parents, grandparents, relatives, friends. Your generous donation helps support our activities, locally and nationally, throughout the year. As a member, you will receive a membership card, the current PTA directory, and access to various PTA sponsored clinics and educational events.  Join the PTA by sending in your $10 membership dues and help us reach 100% participation.  Please join online by clicking here today.
